Benefits of online group maths tuition for students and parents

Nothing replaces being able to get tailored guidance from a subject expert when it comes to helping your child succeed, but 1:1 tuition can be expensive and misses out on the collaborative benefits of working and learning as a group.

Our mission is to make expert online tuition accessible to all!

Our 6-week science tuition courses are led by teachers and expert tutors in small groups of up to four students, focusing in on tricky topics to radically improve your child's understanding of a specific curriculum topic.

How EdPlace online group maths tuition works

We’re proud of our programme that is specially designed for students of any age, helping them with their online science tuition without taking away the engaging, interactive elements of in person support.

Our courses include an hour a week of tuition with activities assigned from the EdPlace platform between lessons to keep your child progressing.

We use assessments at the beginning and end of each course to provide you with accurate, measurable data on how they have improved.

How is our maths tutoring structured?

All group sessions are delivered in a secure lesion space online and led by a qualified teacher or expert tutor in small groups of up to 4 students at set times over a six-week period.

Each course is subject specific and is designed to support your child’s learning.

Students are assigned an EdPlace assessment ahead of the session to understand their current level of understanding and enable the teacher to better tailor their lesson.

In between each session, teachers will recommend follow up activities on EdPlace so your child can practice and progress.

At the end of the course, another assessment is assigned so you can gauge the progress they have made.
